This Privacy Policy explains what information Zida Precision Technology Co., Ltd. ("Zida Precision", "we", "us") collects through the website zida-precision.com and through our internal business tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. 1. Who we are
The website and the tools described here are operated by Zida Precision Technology Co., Ltd., Building F, Tianyouchuangke Industrial Zone, Baoan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Email: contact@zida-precision.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you submit through the contact form
When you send an inquiry on our Contact Us page we receive:
- your name and email address (required);
- your company name and phone number (optional);
- the service you selected (optional) and the project details you type in the message box;
- the date and time of the submission and the IP address it was sent from.
The contact form does not accept file uploads. If you send us drawings, CAD models or other files by email, WhatsApp or another channel, we handle them as described in section 5 and in our Terms of Service.
2.2 Technical information
- Abuse protection. To protect the site from spam and excessive traffic, our server counts form submissions and open connections per IP address. These counters are kept in the server's memory only and are not written to a database.
- Server logs. We do not keep a log of every page you view. Our server's system log records the name, email address and IP address of each contact-form submission, and the IP address of a connection when it exceeds our abuse-protection limits. These logs are used only to operate and secure the site.
- Cookies and analytics. The website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
3. How we use your information
- to reply to your inquiry and prepare quotations;
- to manufacture, inspect, ship and invoice orders you place with us, and to provide after-sales support;
- to keep business records of our communications and transactions;
- to protect the website against spam, abuse and attacks.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Google user data
Zida Precision uses a Google Cloud OAuth application for its own internal tools. It is not offered to the public, and there is no "Sign in with Google" on this website.
- Who uses it. Only authorized Zida Precision staff, signing in with their own Google accounts, to access Google Sheets and Google Drive files that belong to or are shared with Zida Precision.
- What data is accessed. The content of those spreadsheets and Drive files (for example order lists, quotation and shipment records), with the Google Sheets and Google Drive permissions the staff member grants on the Google consent screen.
- How it is used. Solely to read and update the company's own records for internal operations such as order tracking, quotations, production scheduling, shipping and accounting.
- Sharing. We do not sell Google user data, do not share it with third parties except service providers that process it on our behalf to perform the task a staff member requested, and do not use it for advertising.
- AI / machine learning. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
- Human access. Our staff see this data only as part of their normal work on the company's own records.
- Revoking access. A user can revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Zida Precision's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Confidentiality of your drawings and project information
Drawings, CAD files, specifications and project details you share with us are treated as confidential. We use them only to evaluate, quote and manufacture your parts. Where part of the work is carried out by a manufacturing partner (for example machining, surface finishing or heat treatment), we give that partner only the information it needs to do that work.
6. Third parties
- Hosting. The website runs on a server rented from a third-party hosting provider; inquiry records are stored on that server.
- Fonts and icons. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and icons from cdnjs (Cloudflare). Your browser connects to these services directly, so they receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies.
- WhatsApp and social media. The WhatsApp button and the Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram icons are plain links. Nothing is sent to these services unless you click them; if you do, their own privacy policies apply.
- Business service providers. To fulfil orders we share the necessary contact and shipping details with logistics carriers, and part specifications with manufacturing partners.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or by a competent authority.
7. Storage, retention and security
The website is served over encrypted HTTPS, so the contact form is transmitted encrypted. Inquiry records are stored on our web server, and access to the server is restricted to authorized staff. We keep inquiries and related business correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you, perform our business relationship and meet our record-keeping obligations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your information may be stored or processed in China or in other countries where our hosting provider and service providers operate.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@zida-precision.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may keep information we are required to retain by law or for our legitimate business records (for example invoices).
9. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
