SLA

SLA (Stereolithography) printing is a 3D printing technology that uses a UV laser to create parts layer by layer from a liquid resin. The printer builds the part from the bottom up by curing the liquid resin with the laser, creating a solid object.

One of the biggest advantages of SLA printing is its high level of detail and accuracy. The prints have a smooth finish and can reproduce intricate geometries with high resolution.

SLA printing also allows for a wide range of material choices, including flexible and high-temperature resins. This versatility makes it useful for prototyping and developing parts for various industries like medical, automotive, and consumer goods.

SLS

The main advantage of SLS printing is its ability to produce complex, functional parts with high precision and accuracy. Unlike traditional manufacturing methods, which require expensive molds or tooling, SLS printing can produce custom parts on-demand without the need for any additional equipment.

Additionally, SLS printing allows for a wide range of materials to be used, including plastics, metals, and even ceramics, providing designers and engineers with a level of flexibility that was previously impossible.

SLS printing also minimizes material waste, as unsintered powder can be reused in subsequent builds, and it can be used to create multi-material parts that integrate several different functions into a single component.

SLM

SLM stands for Selective Laser Melting, a type of additive manufacturing technology that involves the use of lasers to melt and fuse metal powders to create three-dimensional parts.

The advantage of using SLM is that it allows for the creation of complex geometries and designs that are difficult or impossible to achieve using traditional manufacturing techniques.

SLM can be used to produce parts in a wide range of materials, including titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel, among others. This makes it a useful technology for a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, and medical..
